Does anyone know if I buy a tank and it gets killed do I have to rebuy it or does it work like owned cars?

Are you running Afterburner? I had a similar problem with GTA 4 when Afterburner was running. The game would minimise and I would be unable to restore it.

Had two crashes today

Game has just frozen, '.... has stopped responding' has come up :mad:

, not had a crash until now! Any ideas what it could be?

Similar happening to me, game was working perfect until yesterday. Whenever I try continue story mode the game the game hangs on loading and crashes.

Finished the story mode (again

) this time doing the heists the alternative way.

As good as the first time, if not better, still briliant

Seems to run well on all high settings and very high textures however every now and then there is large freezes even though VRAM is way below max.

How much RAM does this game use?

A lot, I have seen it reach 6gb +. I had to manually adjust my virtual memory
to stop it crashing after 10 minutes. Its on a ssd so all seems well and I have my settings sorted now.

I just need time to play the bloody thing! :rolleyes:

Quick edit:

I just been messing around to get my settings right etc so only done 1.6% of story!
Why is the damage model so rubbish compared to GTA 4? The cars are made of stone!!!

Folks, can anyone help...

Ive arrived at Michaels house as Franklin who walks in and has a drink with Michael after the jewellery heist. And this dude Davey walks in (who is a detective I take it?)

Thing is Ive not come across him before in my game, is this the first instance this guy just waltzs into Michaels house?

It becomes more clear as you go on by the way. You have seen him before.

Cheers. So apart from the first mission, 6 years ago, the scene where you are having a drink with Michael and Davey barges in, is the first time you see him in the game?

It was certainly easy money. Quick too, even with all of the annoying help tips that I couldn't skip

Compared to other heist finales, even with a 25% even split, that first one seems to be much quicker.

I cant seem to be able to do that one. Everytime I get to the garage fir the setup it crashes for all players(we can still chat though) weird.

Edit: Wrong quote sorry, I meant the fleeca mission

For people who are crashing, turn on the splash screen on startup. It fixes the BEX64 crash when aiming in a car or changing character after you have previously thrown an item (grenade, sticky bomb, Chop's ball).

Is there a fix for the 59Hz bug. Now I'm playing on PC connected to TV I cannot seem to get it to be 60Hz. If I try and use the Nvidia Sync it feels horrid ?

59hz will be 60hz some games list it as 59.95hz Why I have no idea..

Good players are a myth, im yet to see a single one and if one person dies the heist is over. Public heists are as fun as having stage 3 HIV.
