Batman: Arkham Knight (PC/PS4/XB1)

Season pass and stuff announced,

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced the Season Pass and Premium Edition for Batman™: Arkham Knight, the epic conclusion to the award-winning Arkham trilogy from Rocksteady Studios. Both the Batman™: Arkham Knight Season Pass and Batman™: Arkham Knight Premium Edition are now available for pre-order from participating retailers. The Season Pass is priced at £32.99 and the Premium Edition, which includes both the Season Pass and the main game, is priced at £87.98 for console, and £67.98 for PC.

The Batman™: Arkham Knight Season Pass will deliver regular new content for six months post-launch including new story missions, additional super-villains invading Gotham City, legendary Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks. The Batman™: Arkham Knight Premium Edition includes the main game and the Season Pass.

They did indeed. Ps4 version has additional content and now a season pass which means the additional content will come to others in this pass leaving none ps4 owners having to stump up later to get these exclusive missions , and wbplay is one of if not the worst game management services I've had to deal with.

Mortal kombat x is a nightmare with wbplay. It will not lnk to my psn account. Weird system.
 
Sorry what's wbplay and when did that get implemented on the consoles? Last WB game I played IIRC was probably Arkham City and I don't remember that

Oh its bloody awful , www.wbplay.com

Its got incentives to sign up, but it doesn't work. Mortal kombat x has exclusive skin's for fighters you get for using wbplay. I finally managed to register , after a bunch of attempts. It then tells me in game to press triangle on my ds4 to get a classic sub zero skin, guess what. Doesn't work.

Shadow of mordor , wbplay never worked at all for me.wbplay was also in injustice and I simply do not see what its use is, only reason I tried in vain to get it working for mk x was for the new incentive content... Fail.

Worse tjen uplay and that takes some doing...

Ah I must have used it with Injustice but dont remember it. Guess launch day is gonna have its problems if logging in is required for some reason.

Why cancel buying the game? Batman season passes have never been known to be that great in value, but luckily they dont keep much from the actual game (normally skins, challenge maps and a SP story or two).

Plenty to do until the season pass becomes half price if you want it...

Do these season passes grant you access to EVERY SINGLE bit of DLC that comes along? Or are some DLC still exempt and need to be bought separately? I've never bothered with season passes before.

It honestly depends on the game, I remember Borderlands 2 and a few other games have extra content (be it skins or another mission) outside of the season pass. It's one of the reasons some people don't like them because it's not clear what the future will hold. You're told vaguely what it will contain, but whether they add extra dlc that's not included can happen, and isn't told upfront generally.

I enjoyed, and still enjoying mortal kombat. And paid just under 40 quid for it,haven't spent a further penny on the game and got over 50% trophies so far and played loads of games in single, tower and story modes.

I'll get batman as I love the series I just wont bother with the season pass... No problem , and those who do buy it, well its their money.. No one is forcing you to buy it as I suspect the entire storyline can be completed and enjoyed without a need for this pass anyhow.
 
I was disappointed to realise that dual play is with an AI buddy and not an opportunity for co-op. Still impressive how it all works though.

Not sure if more bad guys make it more fun though...
