I have nothing else to play. I'll put up with it lol
Well that's a no for me on the PS4 if it has tearing. Cannot stand it.

Adaptive v sync is enabled.
Might get a bit tearing in large rain races.
PS4 uses 'window mode' for syncing, so it's v-synced unless it runs out of time in odd situations then it will flip in a windowed region of the raster scan

I cannot abide tearing at all, never use adaptive vsync on my PC for that reason.
So, yeh, won't be buying this.
I have to admit, Forza games on 360 and X1 have never shown tearing, and Drive Club even though 30fps is rock solid and never tears.
GT5 and GT6 had this adaptive v sync, it was horrible when you'd see a car split horizontally across your windscreen.
I'm not impressed with what SMS have done with the console version IMO. The Ps4 youtube videos from vvv showed quite a bit of visible tearing and not just in rain or night conditions..
Some don't mind it, others like you, and me even cannot stand it.
Sorry if already posted but here is the final launch car list with more to be added free each month. I expect there will be a huge list of cars to choose from eventually.

I decided last night to play it safe with this game due to what I've seen of ps4 footage and cancelled my psn digital pre order and sit on the fence with this one till reviews are out and we see what the patches bring..
After what I read on WMD and senior managers of SMS and WMD being very meh when asked questions about screen tearing its took the wind out of my sails and I'm playing safe.
I've already got the game on PC by default of early backing years ago. Dropping another £44.99 to a developer thwt displayed no concerns to genuine ps4 questions on their forums doesn't sit well with me.
I do like the game, but something feels off to me and the console versions. I'll wait till its out and in the hands of consumers..
