****Official Project CARS thread****

Still got my pre-order for PS4. There just isn't a track based racing 'sim' available other than this, and I'll probably have many birthdays before the next GT is out..so a bit of screen tearing won't bother me.

I bet it won't be even half as bad as some people expect.
 
Does anyone know if that stream is an ild build like the VVV videos or is it the release. Watching on my phone though it looks really nice, looked like a few fps drops at start of some races but didnt look too drastic. I can't see any tearing either, though that could be due to small screen of the phone.
 
Some still stand by the idea this is not the sequel to Shift 2. I really dont see how.

Same developer, same updated game engine and so many similar or identical assets between both games. Even the driver wears the same gloves! :eek:

Dont get me wrong, the game looks awesome and Im a huge of Shift 2, but it is a spiritual successor to Shift 2, it just doesnt share the same name and Im guessing maybe they couldnt use the name 'Shift' as EA owns it.

But yeah, Shift 3 looks awesome :D

He said it was the full ps4 game... i have been watching the stream the last few hours and have not seen any major slowdowns or screen tearing :) obviously there is also still the day one patch to come yet so its looking pretty nice on PS4.

Going to trade Bloodborne for this on Friday. From what I've seen today this is going to be right up my street. Pretty excited to play it.
