Noticed the Arozzi Monza Gaming Chair is on offer on OcUK for £105

Wondering if anyone here has got one - If so what do you think of it? Is it worth the money? I'm looking for a new chair for around £100, not sure if their is anything better to get for the same or a little bit extra

Hey man,

Yeah I've got the Monza in Yellow pictured below:

I got it for £130 a couple of months back. I really like it - it's very comfy (PU Leather), large enough (I'm 6ft 2in) and supportive on my back. If I'm honest I didn't want to spend much more than that as I thought that was a fair amount for a chair.

I must admit my view is a little skewed as for the last 12 years I've had a grade A craptacular Argos chair which has been slowly falling apart, so this is 1000x better in my eyes. It gets a little sweaty around the arse area due to the material its made out of. Other than that I can sit in it for hours with no fatigue, stiffness or aching. The armrests aren't adjustable but that doesn't bother me, they've got some comfy padding on them which is nice to rest your arms/elbow on. It's a bit of pain to put together but it was only me doing it - they recommend two people but I managed it in the end after thinking I'd threaded one of the screws :o it's very sturdy in general and I can see it lasting me many years. I love it.

I haven't sat in any of the other chairs in the OcUK range - I can't say whether some of the AK Racing/DXRacer chairs are worth £230+. The Arozzi Toretta Black is on TWO at £129.99 too, might be worth a look.

You can get a milk crate and overclock it upto a Arozzi Monza Gaming Chair by adjusting the voltage easy...

These just don't do it for me. I have an Ikea Markus which I love, looks the part too. These gaming chairs are a bit... I dunno, "go faster stripey" I suppose.

Each to their own though, this is purely my opinion :)

So what features does it have make it especially suited to gaming as opposed to other types of PC usage?

Gamers are more likely to remain comparatively motionless and for much longer than a normal user. The padding in these chairs is comfortable and supportive but quite firm, which reduces fatigue in the same way decent car and motorcycle seats do.

The back also pivots to near-horizontal, allowing you to take a nap during things like anti-virus/malware scans or Windows, Steam and Origin updates!!

You can buy gaming chairs off Amazon for half the price with the same level of quality than these. To be honest they are all pretty rubbish, if you sit for long periods of time at a pc you should invest in a high quality chair.

Just buy a decent office chair. Gaming chairs are gimmicks IMO.

Does anyone here have the Kashmir chair from a certain high street stationairy store

I used to have it. It's relatively decent for the cost but chairs in that range just don't last. If you see yourself sitting at a PC desk in ten years time, just invest in a decent chair and be done with it.
