No idea, but it's not the first time I've seen this thing. I actually spotted ages ago and took a photo back then, and thought it might've been on it's way to a scrapper, a banger rally, a body shop, whatever. Yet there it was 6 months on still looking roughly the same.

It was also featured on Jalopnik at the time iirc. I'll take a look later.

That yellow AMG Merc above, I saw one of them today in grey, it was a 14 plate
no idea if its the AMG version or not , I don't know, but had the same front end ?

I get an immense feeling of satisfaction when pulling up alongside one of these. Encountered an E60 M5(20D) in Algate East a while back, full on replica apart from wing mirrors and engine, driver outright refused to look my way at all and wouldn't return my friendly smile and wave. Weirdo.
