Turtle Beach Elite 800 VS Astro A50

Looking for a wireless gaming headset that can be used on both Console and PC as my old Turtle beach is well getting old. Really like the looks of these two headsets, anyone got any reviews on either of them or suggestions on which one to go for?

I've used the Astro A40 and Astro A50 for a couple of years now, i really like both, can't comment on turtlebeach though

can't go wrong with astro's mate, theyve been awesome for me and their customer service is second to none. I dropped my mixamp and the optical cable snapped inside, rang them and they paid for the postage back to them and had a brand new updated mix amp with me in 2 days

I own the Astro A50, I find them quite heavy compared to my comfortable sennheisers and they certainly don't look £250s worth.

But... The sound from them is excellent and can be used on PC and console.

Yeah im used to heavy headsets after using the turtle beach PX5 for around 3 years. but since then wireless headsets have improved and my PX5's have started to get a little static noise here and there with no room changes so i will probably get astros for a change. Found some for around £150-£200 anyway so it will be added to my purchase list of things i need to upgrade. Chair first priority though

I have the Turtle Beach 800's and they are brilliant.

Can be had for £199.00 NEW from a popular retail shop.
