Food poisoning.... grim

I came down with it at work...tried to drive home before the puking started but failed....all over the inside of the car while on a dual carriageway. Had to pay a bloke £60 to clean up the mess.

oh plus the dry cleaning bill for the suit i was wearing.
 
I suffer from vertigo after a head trauma and the spinning and vomiting is what happens with that. Comes back for no apparent reason occasionally.

Last time I had something like this I had a few large brandies, puked again went to sleep and woke the next day a new man.
 
I had the worst food poisoning on holiday once. It was the worst. Liquids explosively left my body at both ends simultaneously for many hours.

The rice must have been nearly bad on the Monday night. It is the only thing that only I ate.

Never re-heat rice. It has the capacity to make you very, very sick indeed.
 
Never had food poisoning but I have a pretty tough constitution. Some of my friends have and it looks atrocious, one of them had to go to hospital it was so bad :(

of couse you can re-heat rice! those uncle bens rice packets are pre-cooked rice which you re-heat.

with rice it's all about the storage. cool it quickly and get it in the fridge if you plan on saving it for later to re-heat.
 
Food Poisoning is horrible, luckily i have only had it once and it was my own fault.

Worst "sickness" i've had is Flu, followed by Gastroenteritis just 3 weeks after getting over Flu. "God" clearly hated me.
 
Got food poisoning a few years back, samples taken and tested confirmed it was campylobacter

It was hell on earth, the need for a full bowel emptying every half an hour with what felt like boiling acid coming out, luckily waking up each time before going lol , the stomach pains were so intense and felt like I was being stabbed to death fro the inside out, eating anything multiplied the pain

This lasted about ten days and I lost a stone and a half
 
I got food poisoning a couple of years back after eating a dodgy kebab. It made me more ill than I've ever been before, to the extent that I started hallucinating - I saw groups of people wearing Victorian clothing walking around the room :eek:

I got that after a BBQ once - was not any fun what so ever - 3 days hallucinating and having to crawl to the bathroom every 10 min so the bats wouldn't get me wasn't a great combination!

Also got food poisoning from cable park lake water while on holiday, face planted a few too many times learning to wakeboard and swallowed a little too much...
Had a horrible journey home and woke my wife up around 1am by wandering around the house trying to prevent all the bubbles from bursting.
She took me to A&E where i stayed for 2 days on a drip - trying to kart that to the toilet every 5 min day and night was a huge pain i can tell you!
 
Guinness and Oyster festival years ago. I blame the oysters, despite nobody else getting sick. Absolute carnage and then several days blowing out both ends and lying in bed with cold sweats. Horrific.
 
Got this a few weeks, me and my wife double teamed it for 12 hours straight.
At one point I just lay down on the bathroom floor in a pool of go,it for an hour because I was to weak to stand up. Literally couldn't move.

Even the though of drinking water was horrible for the next day, it was incredibly hard to get hydrated.

The hallucinations I have had before with food poisoning, kind if scary when you get brief moments of sanity and you realize who messed up you are and then you plunge back into some delirium or race off to the bathroom.
