we are having Note 4 phones at work and I want to get a tempered glass screen protector for it as I break screens for fun

there are some cheap ones on Ebay but I can't find any decent ones in the UK, everytime I find one that people recommend they are US sellers only

anyone recommend a decent one available in UK (or even EU) ?

Thanks

I got one from Amazon, just a cheap one but its been good.

Only issue is the fact that the screen isnt flat. This means around the perimeter edge of mine there is a little visible air pocket where the screen protector stayed flat and the surface sloped away from it.

I amazed myself by how well I put it on, other than this little edge bit, the rest is perfect.

If you are prone to damaging the rest of the phone, I bought one of these cases for £16 and its very good quality. Helps me keep mine protected.

I had that case and sold it not long after I got it.

The case is well designed but the metal band around the USB port was horrible and sharp. If using the phone with one hand, naturally your little finger sits over the port and the sharp edges of the case make it uncomfortable to hold for any reasonable amount of time.

i agree, my little finger used to cut in to the where the charging socket is on this case, very uncomfortable

I have one of the cheap ones from ebay and 5-6 months in not a single scratch and quite durable

cheers folks, might just try a cheap one

a lot of folks complain about a "halo effect" on the note 4 with various versions

You can actually buy from their website with shipping its $58 so depending on rates between £35 to £40 no idea about import tax though.

I always use extra glass on mine and my families phones - you never know.

My wife dropped her S3 not that long ago and the glass chipped, but when I took it off, the proper screen was untouched... Phew!

My Note 3 suffered a similar fate, but this was faster and more horizontal than I want to admit to right now, and it was the opposite! - the gorilla glass is absolutely untouched, however the phones own glass has a couple of tiny little lines across it... Enough to render my phone into a squiggly pile of lines for a few seconds and its not been able to display a thing ever since. All to the tune of £174.

Also as for not being able to find it in the UK, I went to gee bay entered samsung note 4 screen and the top one that comes up is £3.49 delivered and is in the UK ?

there are many available in UK just done of the brands that people seem to recommend

I see.
Well I have to semi-agree. I have bought a few different ones for the S3 now, I changed the first one ( which was great ) purely because I put the S3 into a gorilla case but then changed my mind, so I put another one on, and thats the one that saved the S3 when the wife dropped it and its now got another one on.

They have all had a slightly different feel to them and the first one was definitely the better of the 3 as it simply felt sturdier.

So I see what you mean.

But the way I look at it, if you need to be THAT fussy, then you are probably mistreating the phone too much, and you know it.

Apart from the "accident" I had last week, my phone is absolutely in pristine condition, all my phones are kept in as good consition as possible.
