If the SNP didn't focus on independance, I actually agree with a lot of what they say. They could change into a party that could actually get a lot of support in E&W if they fielded candidates there as they're essentially giving another option of LD voters.

I don't have anything to hide but that doesn't mean I want the world to see what I'm doing. The amount of things that have been leaked in the past few governments, this is just going to be a catastrophe.

Was always going to happen even if Labour got a majority since they supported "more powers". Now that we know the Germans were at it and soon the French as well if we're really worried then we'll change the way we work.

Exactly. I don't care one bit if they want to snoop on me. They'll soon get fed up examining my mundane existence lol. If this helps catch terrorists and other criminals then I'm all for it.

God, some of my rather intelligent friends are spouting "they can see my data, got nothing to hide, what's the fuss"?

I don't trust the Tories (who claim they don't want a nanny state or to intrude in our daily lives) with this or a human rights act!

I'm a private citizen with the emphasis on PRIVATE, the last I checked 70 years ago today we won a war against a tyrannical authoritarian regime so I could remain so...............

They didn't claim that at all wasn't Cameron behind some pledge to ban all porn or make it opt in?

Didn't he also want ISPs to blacklist spy/report people downloading alleged 'illegal' content as well?

I'm not against them having a look at my e-mails per se however there is a dangerous scenario where someone who may be in power or have influence could be blackmailed by the secret service.

The last labour government was even more anti liberty, anti freedom of speech, and anti privacy.

The thought of the tories being in another 5 years is just terrifying, they'll run this country into the ground. Once my uni course is done i'm jumping ship to another country.

The average joe is going to be significantly poorer with a tory government.
