Excellent feeling, AI is the best I feel I've seen on a console racing game they attack you they are hard to beat, they don't seem to break really early into corners like some racing games and they make mistakes.

Oh and AI was on 70, still tough,:o:D

Like the little touch where rubber occasionally flys off the wheels during races.

goes to show how peoples opinions can vary, personally i think its some of the worst this gen i have seen. lost track the amount of times slowing for corners ive been rear ended, overtaking on the green racing line and the cpu just bounces into me ( usually forcing me to restart ) the list goes on.

the worst one tho is when a cpu car goes of the track and blatantly drives onto the track as if your not there causing a multiple pile up. more than likely a defo black flag in real life racing but 100% accecptable in project cars. even codemasters f1 penalizes you for that type of driving

Going to pick this up tomorrow on PS4. Some of the streams I've seen have been great and the track selection especially the UK tracks look stunning. Trading Bloodborne which I can't bring myself to NG+ but I think I'll pick it again at some point as it's brilliant. Really looking forward to giving PCars a blast.
 
I'm loving this game played around 4 hours plus 3 races online and I'm impressed it may have a been a fluke but it seems the players online are like minded sim racers and not demolition derby noobs :D just ordered my a t300 and seat from openwheeler can't wait
 
played it for about 5 hours upto now and its all seems ok, few things that have got to me though.

firstly the AI and blue flags, they never seem to move out the way when im trying for a hot lap but i get shouted at to move for blue flags and they seem to just want to turn in on you all the time, second thing is dipping a wheel slightly off track and you lose your time and your next lap's time seems a bit oversensertive on this. lastly doing the manditory pit for tyres, when ever i stop its not raining but as soon as im on my way out of the pits it suddenly starts to rain anyone else getting this?

decided to start my career off in GT3 using a RUF
 
Started off in the career mode using the karts, lot of fun but tough. Definitely a game that rewards you the more you play. Enjoying it so far. The AI is set to 80 by default how are people finding it?

Difficulty or the game in general ? I love the game and I'm using 70 AI difficulty.
 
Started in the clios with AI on 80 and TC off but abs/esp on. Qualified on pole by about 2 seconds but then finished 5th because a wheel nut wouldn't go on for literally at least 10 seconds :rolleyes:

Enjoying it though.

How did you know it was a wheel nut? Does your pit guy tell you or something ? Not had it happen to me yet :(
