Recently picked up a 2002 Peugeot 206 for 350 quid. Car seems to be pretty solid. Just took it for an mot, no advisories and only one fail, nearside front lower arm.

I have never owned a Peugeot before so don't have any contacts for parts etc. The job is pretty simple and I can do it myself no problem, however I am need a bit of help picking the right part. Ideally I need to get this job done before Tuesday to stay within the 10 day partial retest.

I have found these on Amazon "Nordstrand csk-p2061-aut01 Front Suspension Wishbone Arms with Stabiliser Links" pair for £55.

The appeal here is that they are Amazon prime, and I will receive them quickly. I'm 99% sure this is the right part but unsure on the quality etc.

Anyone got any advice here?

Much appreciated
Larry

Finally find you!

Back on topic, if its prime, just order it and see the quality? Return if you don't like it?
If you have a local Eurocarparts near you, check this out (i know its only for one!)

Haha, indeed you have found me...

Yeh there is a Eurocarparts centre round the corner so I might go with what the two of you have suggested. I do only need the one. I am tempted to go with the prime option as yes, its easy to send back. But tbh, its a lot of faff.

I own a land rover so I am useless when it comes to buying parts for "regular" cars :P

The job is simple but its a nightmare.

Getting wishbone ball joint out of the lower hub and back in the a pain like no other. Leave the protective plastic on as you will no doubt end up ruining the rubber. Just break it off carefully after.

I've done four, two on a gti and two on a 1.4 boggo standard.

Having a spare jack to lift the hub and a massive breaker bar helps. Though we actually bent a breaker bar doing one of these.

sounds like fun... Can't wait. (sarcasm)

Yeh I figured a second jack would help. I've read on a few forums that people have had some real problems on this job but others saying everything popped right in.

Picked up the part from eurotrash today, unfortunately no bolts included and their bolts were 7 quid a pop, no thank you.

Seeing as this job has the potential to be a bit of a mission, I'll post back with an update. Might help another poor bugger.

Good old boomarang shaped wishbones. You can drop the subframe a bit but if the captive nut brakes off your screwed.
