Hi guys,

Would I be right in saying its a safe bet if I bought one of these now it would be REV A01

It makes no difference whatsoever when it comes to likelihood of good backlight uniformity. If that is your thinking.

Hi PCM2 the light bleed is not my main concern I had read that A01 had fixed a few picture issue with better blacks and more vibrant colours

Well I have only seen Revision A01 and they have been strong in that regard (good gamma for that kind of thing). And yeah, they've been floating around for a while now so you'd be more than likely to get one if buying new now.
