** OcUK PROUDLY PRESENTS - VESARO ADVANCED RACING SIMULATORS **

Because rich people love to rich and having one of these in your home would be sweet.

I imagine a few businesses would be interested in getting one for their offices for staff/clients.

Indeed, these could be popular with corporate entertainment companies and such like as well.

I think most of us peasants can't comprehend the cost. But I wonder how we would feel if we had £50m in the bank, and wanted to buy our kids a cool toy?

If people can afford them, and want to buy them - more power to them :)

The Stage 9 one is £7000 more than buying it direct from Vesaro?

In fact they all seem much more expensive than buying direct?

Vesaro are at 29280 on the stage 9

they sell predominantly international sales so they don't include UK tax on their site until checkout.
add VAT and that is 35136

we are £1.01 cheaper.

Racing simulators will never compare to driving a real car

this is where we are going to disagree.

The Vesaro stage 10 uses a 'Leo Bodnar SimSteering' GT3 wheel. A serious piece of kit that clocks in at around £5000

Having driven on track days in a road car, I am well aware of how a performance road car feels on track. This simulates forces exerted on a driver from a race car with slicks and no power steering.

the word 'savage' doesn't even cover it.

If you ever get the chance to use a Vesaro sim at an event or exhibition like gadget show etc, then I urge you to do it. It will make you eat your words.

I tried to take advantage of that £1.01 saving and buy 10 of the £35k setups, saving me a quite significant £10.10p, but it wouldn't let me at checkout :( ;) :p

Wow, these look incredible.

Hehe. Eyeing up a promotion are we?

How does it simulate long sweeping bends? It doesn't rotate so it can't accelerate you laterally for more than a few centimetres?

Vesaro are at £28,280 on the stage 9, which is £33,936 after VAT, meaning that you are £1198 more expensive.

The rest of the prices are equal to Vesaro give or take £2 - £3. :)

You don't want to scare off those rich customers. :D

Its odd. The vibrations and buttkicker system do a good job of it. Obviously it doesn't give you a feeling of g force but it is done well. Hard to explain really.

Shame they don't do aircraft cockpits. I was going to buy three. Oh well.

They do. So now you have to commit

Totally fail to see why it's £35k when you can get a really decent car for that. Just a complete rip off. But then I guess people who would justify spending that kind of money on something like that don't care about being ripped off!

Its a problem with their page. Click on the stage 9 and go to checkout. Its £29280.

Everything has been set up from their official reseller price list.

The crap sarcasm/pedantry in your posts is becoming very, very tiresome.

There are so many parts to it. The three panels are around £4k a piece. Then the Dbox hydraulic system takes up a large chunk of the cost too.

The PC, seat/frame and peripherals are actually the cheapest bits of the whole setup ironically. Its only when you look at the stage 10 that you realise how deep the rabbit hole goes.

The wheel is around £5k on that. Then the pedals are hydraulic too, I didnt find out how much they were though.

You can have whatever combo you want really, but the turnkey solutions we have listed are basically the 'best suggestion config' at various price points. The man hours that go into the creation of these seats is mind blowing.

There wasn't any intentional sarcasm in there really, and pointing out that one of your prices seemed to be over £1000 out of whack according to the details available to me is hardly pedantic.

I know I do it at times, and I apologise, but this wasn't one of those times. If anything I was trying to be helpful. :p
