****Official Project CARS thread****

Is there a way to get the game commentary through TV/Headset instead of through the pad if using a wheel? if I don't have the pad on I don't get the speech.

Right, We've had a couple of days to find our feet with Project Cars. I'm putting out feelers to see who's interested in a multiplayer championship on the PS4. I was thinking about a Touring series with the BMW M3 GT. Just reply in here let me know if you're up for it, mic's not required but they have their benifits. Everything else I'll sort out once I know the numbers.
i will join... my id is smurkjeh ps4 if anyone wants to add me too..

Using these which were posted by a member on the project car forum, best I've tried so far.

Controller Input Mode - 3 (Change first)

Steering Deadzone - 10
Steering Sensitivity - 30
Throttle Deadzone - 10
Throttle Sensitivity - 40
Brake Deadzone - 10
Brake Sensitivity - 30
Clutch Deadzone - 10
Clutch Sensitivity - 45
Speed Sensitivity - 65
Controller Filtering Sensitivity - 35
Force Feedback - 100
RPM/Gear Display Yes

Controller Input Mode - 3
Advanced - On
Apply Soft Steering - On
Apply Visual Filtering - Off
Apply Opposite Lock Help - Off

Tried these just now and wasn't sure initially because everything felt a bit looser but once I got used to it I had a lot more confidence in chucking it in the corners and even looking for the back end to slide out. I was winning races by 8-11 seconds so it deffo helped. Going to up the difficulty now as I feel a lot more confident in how far I can push. Nice find, cheers.

No problem. :)

You can always up the control filtering which I think would tighten up the steering, I think that setting dampens all the inputs so may reduce twitchy movements in the car.

Same, I was fairly happy with mode 3 handling but these are actually better.. Seems I agree. It feels looser but LMP 2 cars, throwing it around Brno and getting reasonable pace to be fair.

Anyone noticed popping or crackling sound ?

They are like chalk and cheese.
Right now the PS4 version grips and drives lovely with no need for TCS or Stability control tyre heat up much quicker too and much more forgiving when stone cold, back to back the Xbox is twitchy, I've had to have Stability control on all the time and TCS on for wet races.

Visually the stuttering and framerate drops are not in the PS4 version either, also it just looks smoother/nicer, anyone that says there isn't noticeable visual differences between the two are either A: blind or B: on the payrole.

Xbox One desperately needs that incoming patch that I mentioned yesterday.
