I know there was never a dispute over that fact, I was just wondering a-loud why anyone would spend so much on a simulator when they could buy a couple of old Porsches (so they have a spare in-case they crash) and have change for track events.

Becuase if you had the money you'd buy this AND a track car (or two).

No one is going to buy this INSTEAD of a track car. It's a supplement, not a replacement.
