How much do you think the 390X will cost and will you buy it ?

£589 Air, £659 water.

I'll only buy one if it is a massive leap up from my 290X

I recon about £500 for air £550 for WC, I would be very tempted to buy one if the 4K performance in better than the titan-x

In all honesty I was going to buy one regardless, however after much deliberation, I've come to the conclusion I only play a handful of PC games and they are MMO types and my PC runs them fine, coupled with dx12 next year and I am probably just going to wait for Nvidias first HBM card next year and switch camp too them along with a Gsync screen.

i think the 390x will be nothing special now, not to mention Freesync is hardly lighting up the world, nice try from Amd but once again I think they will fall short of the mark

£589.99 for watercooled
£519.99 for air cooled

Probably won't be buying either or Amd again

No one will buy "water cooled reference" at £100+ premium over the air cooled one, come on, what is this silly season? It's safe to assume board partners will release their models with custom coolers at a price point not much north of the reference air cooled one, so seriously guys... "Water cooled reference " over something like Sapphire 390X Vapor-X, for a lot more cash? I'm seriously not feeling it.

£399 air, will buy
£479 water, maybe? Depends if I have enough money, any more and I'm out all together. Drawing the line here, these crazy prices can't continue. Fingers crossed. ;)

£499.95 Yes

If it is more I will just get another 290 on the cheap from members market and give crossfire a go until 16nm is out. Not going to pay silly money for tech that will get blow away next year with the arrival of 16nm finally.

Edit: To be clear I would not be willing to pay more than £399.99 :)

Been thinking about this after my initial prediction and think it will be as follows

Air - 1 camel & 4 goats
Water - 1 camel, 8 goats & 10 sheep

Matt has a fetish for goats. ;)

My guess is £599.99 air-cooled and at least £649.99 water-cooled. I.e. my expectations are low. I'm not paying more than £300 for a GC on my build next month, given my total budget is up to £1300 (so far £300 worth of SSD/HDD). However, if this card somehow has double the performance of a 970 (or close) then I'd go the mile and buy it. But we all know that'll happen when pigs fly.
