** OcUK PROUDLY PRESENTS - VESARO ADVANCED RACING SIMULATORS **

As some of them are supplied with Fanatec stuff, is there any chance of OCUK stocking it seperately or is it supplied by Vesaro?

Id love one of these as I am getting back into iRacing (this week) and I have my old G25 screwed to my desk with pedals underneath and a 27" screen and I think you need a proper set up to be really good, it just feels better. However, these do seem a bit pricy, though I know people who race who have spent over 80K getting set ups at home...but they are significantly better off than me. I did look at these a while back...might be tempted....Gibbo gizza a discount :D

If money was no object - I'd buy one in a flash. Love these simulators, I think they're great, and surprisingly accurate/realistic.

That said, if money was no object, I'd spend most of my life doing track days - or buying a track! :p

Fanatec will not sell to retailers.

Vesaro buy the Fanatec stuff at website price and just dont make any money on it.

You could race in the Clio cup for a fraction of that. Or even in the Ginetta's.

I do like the bare bones platform though. A little rich for my tastes though :(

Not much use if you want to race a le mans racer round Spa however is it ?

You wouldn't spend this kind of money on a simulator and simulate running a clio round croft.

Thats the beauty of the simulator - you can race cars that you could never simply afford to race and feel a lot closer to it than you would just playing forza on your couch in the front room.

The biggest issue with these simulators is representing slip and traction that's what most miss and that's why they tend to become less effective.

no simulator at this sort of price point will currently be able to accurately simulate lateral G properly.

From my experience in one of these, it does a very good job in terms of immersion, despite of course the physical pressures being put on your body being very low in comparison to the real thing.

I presume you're referring to being able to actually physically feel the car lose traction as opposed to representing it on screen ? as the video games do a very good job of representing it when power sliding around on project cars etc..

No game can replicate the feeling you get from inertia and more importantly the feeling you get through the steering, brakes and backside. They are still fun and useful for learning lines, braking points and practice but they all lack the feel you get on track.

You can't feel the limit, that's the issue. You have to learn it and that's not the same thing.
