100% correct imo, if you want that, go play GT or Forza, Project Cars is all about racing and road cars are not welcome :D

Spent about 3 years on Forza 4 just driving a Citroen C1, Mazda 2 and a Ford Focus in D Class it was the best racing ever :)

I'm stuck with just a Renault Clio in Project CARS so not happy

Welcome to where the real men race. ;):D

The only annoying bug that I seem to get repeatedly is when I select 'Race' in either practice or quali the car just sits there with the pit dude not moving. I have to restart session to get him to move out of the way. Other than that I can overlook the other niggles because the actual racing is so glorious...and I don't really watch replays because I would rather be racing :)

Bah humbug... Lol McLaren f1 was loads of fun IMO. Threw it around nurburgring, and the a to b tracks are ok ish. I do prefer the track racing but its nice to mix it up a little..

My first online attempt in this game was a point to point on some horribly narrow and twisty American road in the Mclaren F1. It was...ridiculous! I'll give it a bash some time in career maybe but right now I am enjoying open wheel racing on proper circuits.

Does anyone have any tips to try and not make things so twitchy. I have played with the settings but every car still seems to dive around far to much.

I'm using these on the PS4 and they improved the 'twitchiness' no end for me...

First set to input mode 2
All deadzones:0
Steering sensitivity:30
Throttle sensitivity:45
Brake sensitivity:30
Clutch sensitivity:45
Speed sensitivity:75
Controller filtering:35
Force feedback:100
Advanced: off

Buy a wheel :)

Don't all have room for wheels, and wheels need stands these cost. Buying s wheel is expensive.

Tbh the ps4 version is actually very playable with a pad, unlike the PC version. I believe a patch for PC went live today. There is a patch for both ps4 and x1 going live soon as Sony and Microsoft approve it.

SMS will hopefully squash all these bugs.

There is also a ton of dlc planned for this game so its in SMS best interest to get this game up to spec...

Just tried and still too sensitive for me a tiny nudge and the car darts left or right. Will tweak them a bit.

It's really really annoying that you have to quit to change the settings. Really bad oversight there that needs fixing...

For anyone who has a masters degree in quantum physics heres a guide to the FFB settings in project cars, i don't understand any of this   :)

Hmm does make you wonder why x1 footage before launch was so scarce... VVV automotive YouTube channel did finally show footage days before release but on WMD he commented on big differences not just performance wise either, but he never went into detail...

Certainly explains why there weren't many/any Xbox One gameplay vids or live streams until last week...whereas PS4 stuff have been on Youtube and twitch for weeks!

Use an ironing board

I have tweaked the settings so it's not so skitty now but something still feels wrong with the handling with all cars. The only way I can describe it is it's like I'm driving using a keyboard rather than a controller ? It just feels flat and very on or off...

Will play with more settings and another of my complaints is there is no info to what each does so it's guess work or Google...
