Nah, doesn't work like that unfortunately. Me and a friend tried hosting the "criminal intentions" race around the prison for some quick races, but every time we walked into the blue ring manually it'd put us into a lobby of players.

Getting host is pure luck. Even if you manually start a job via the online menu, you get put into an existing lobby if there's one open, races tend to be pretty busy and the lobbies normally have 8-10+ players in them.

Anyone fancy making a concerted effort on some heists? Ive done them all, but ive not done them in order and ive not hosted many. Otherwise im just happy doing them for EXP.

I did a good one - off to raid the plane from Zancudo Base and all 4 of use pile into the plane. Lining up for the landing and I press G to lower the landing gear. Sadly I caught F instead which I use to get in and out of vehicles :D

KABOOM! :D

(Going on now, on OcUK Official TS, GTA Room 2! :D)

Bought the Insurgent and it took 10 people to beat Freefaller out of the gunner position, raging bullet fest! :D

Only downside is the fact you can't store the damn thing (that's the Insurgent, not FF) in your garage, you have to request it via phone. :(
 
We just did hydra heist, by accident I got the dingy stuck on land, one guy tried to push it and when he did, both engines end up on fire, few sec later boom
