What did you do to your bike today?

Got the ECU flashed:

Less engine braking
Fly-by-wire has been changed, the actual 100% throttle only came on for about 3k RPM so that's been changed.
Throttle smoothed out, can ride one handed in first gear at any rpm and roll on and off without jerking.
Fuel mappings altered, bike pulls so much better in midrange it's unreal.
Unlocked quickshifter capability, ordered one and will be here this week Very Happy

Changed the Fat opera singer (stock exhaust) to...

Austin Racing GP2R

(Neighbours will love me) :o

just watched your YT vid. big improvement in sound and looks. Nice one.

It's not stupidly loud like the RSV4 GP2R or older S1000RR ARCS GP2R system too, which is nice.

Also can anyone recommend where to get rim tape from?

Although the yellow rim tape on my bike looks good in pictures, its not well done in person so need to change it as its starting to peel.

ABBA standed it with the front lift kit (which is damn awesome by the way) and got the front wheel off in prep for tyre arriving. Just nudged a jack against the front axle JUST in-case something catastrophic were to happen with the stand. but as far as the video shows, you can jump on the thing and it's wont move.

Visited some friends today I do some work for on and off and they had this little darling in working on for a customer.

She resonates your internal organs when fired up.

I'd had my CB1000R a month when I crashed it on Brands Hatch. I got most of it fixed, but the fuel tank looked to be over a grand to have it sorted, so I just put a baglux over it.

A month or so back I found one on eBay for £280, had it fitted yesterday when having the spark plugs changed and after 3 years, it's once again looking like it's supposed to!
