Hi guys.

Had my watercooled build for about a week now but still get annoying sounds like a trickle sound thought i got all the air out the system but theres still a big bubble and smaller ones in the res/pump combo and not sure how to get rid of them? hers a pic :

any ideas?

If you are still getting bubbles you may still have air in your loop just tilt the case slowly again to get the trapped air out. Turn your pump speed up as this well help to work the trapped air round to the res.

But also you may be drawing in air via a small leak have you been topping the res up at all more than need be?

Check for loss fittings them put some tissue paper around the fittings to check for leaks again.

Yeah will try tilting the case up and side ways again. Pretty sure theres no leaks as i leaked tested over 48 hours and have not noticed any drop in fluid. Thanks though.

I tested leak free but after a while had to top up res a few times, turned out it was a 90 degree fitting weeping now and again from the o'ring and l had to replace fitting.

Checked it all over and there are no leaks :) phew. Theres no bubbles in the tubing as well.

Exactly, I like about half a centimetre just for the air to work it's way up.

Also, if you turn off the pump and open the res, coolant doesn't go everywhere. :p

Finally got all the air out :) but the res/pump are making a high pitch vibrating sound is there any material i can buy to help with this?

You could put some foam around the res in the 5'1/4 bay. But if its the actual pump, there is not much you can do.

You haven't accidentally dry ran the pump when filling have you?

yeah i think its vibrating on the case because when i lift it up off the case the noise goes away so will some foam of some sort between the case and pump/res? Also i didn't dry run the pump.

Got some foam material for neeling on in the end worked a treat :). Been doing some tests to measure temps. GPU hits 42c after 2 hours of GTAV and CPU about 70c does this seem high? ran realbench as well and hottest core was 68c.

Temps are fine.
