I really want an authentic derringer and nutz dipper, there's one going on SV at the moment but the issue is that I've spent far too much on vape gear in the past few months already. I have two more atties on backorder, I can justify spending the odd £30 pounds here and there this month but can't really justify dropping that amount of cash in one go.

Greyhaze have some nice custards. £10 for 30ml 0,3,6,12,18mg strengths in vg or vg/pg

I have the Maryland custard £12 for 30ml at the moment, its custard and biscuits its nice :)

Ta, most of their custards are listed as sold out so just went with a big bottle of Son of a Biscuit Eater for now. Will probably have to chuck it in the cupboard for a few weeks though.

I think I'll just leave the NI200 stuff alone. It's a lot of hassle and I don't really see the benefit when compared to a good Kanthal build.

The only benefit is stopping too high a heat causing the break down of PG and VG, from what I understand anyway. Since the flavour of a hot spot is disgusting most people ain't going to need a chip to limit heat to know. It is a safely thing not a better vape thing. I expect it to become fairly standard for prebuilt coils / batteries at some stage, but again for the health / safty benefits of less advanced users. I could be well out here as I've not looked that much into it, just what I've heard from vapers I respect the opinion of.

I think i finally got it right with the cotton when rebuilding. This afternoon is the first time on the subtank RBA it's just given me that satisfying (when you close the back of your mouth and breath in) noise instead of popping and spitting.

A week ago i was all for the prebuilt OCC but now i don't think i'll buy any more :p

The prebuilt ones are pretty easy to rebuild too. So you can have a few sitting ready for them times you just want to stick something in that works.

Evening all! Looking for some advise on vv/vw mods, going to retire my 50w istick, all the horror stories have me looking at something with a readily removable battery. I intend to buy two mods, one smaller form factor and wattage then the other.

Larger device: 70w minimum, used for rdas when at home so size isn't an issue, temp control might be something I'd like to play with, have been looking at the sigelei 100w+ and ipv4.

Smaller device: for use at work/out and about, 40w+ if possible, wouldn't imagine temp control is desirable as I'd likely be using a subtank on it and have no problem with dry hits at the moment, outside of the sigelei 50w I haven't done much in the way of homework as all of my attention has been looking at bigger devices :p

Quick Q on batteries too, what brand/model should I be looking at, I thought I'd probably go with efest but they have half a dozen varients of 18650.

Plan to order tonight, along with an Atlantis 2 and maybe a silo beast

I'm new to vaping
Your thoughts on smok pro bt50
I've got it on minimum 6 watts and on standard 0.5 coil.
Massive throat kick on ruthless e juice....rise 12mg.

Am I just not used to it, I'll be coughing like mad if I up the wattage

Comments welcome please..

Alan

Hello, welcome to the vaping world.. First advice would be to ditch the tank your using. :)

0.5 is a sub ohming level, I wouldn't start anyone on it at all... Keep it to one side for later when your more used to vaping. It wasn't that long ago about a year; where 2 ohm was the norm. Have a look at the first post, there's some suggestions on what to get. I would suggest the nautilus mini or silo (not the beast); if your after a bigger tank, would be a much better tank to start with. Aim for around a 1.5 coil as it gives you the biggest beginner range to play with. Just out of interest what tank and mod did you get?

My DNA40 is probably the best mod i've ever owned, but I never use it for Nickel builds. Pretty expensive for what it is.

I'd suggest buying an eleaf battery and a nautilus mini, that should cost around £30-40. That combo is a really solid day to day vape that will last.

I cough my **** up unless I use 100% VG juice.

Any suggestions for a good custard that isn't too expensive? Preferably in 100ml bottles. I would have bought more from Jax Vapes but orders from there aren't turning up atm due to him being ina bike accident.

300ml of different juices ordered so far, just waiting on a reply from SCV's for another 100ml of Nipple Juice also and i should be set for a while once i find another custard i like :)

ah crap, that would be why mine have not arrived then! :(

bloody love the peanut and the rhubarb ones.

Had best order some stuff from elsewhere as I am running out!

It really depends on your budget mate, the sigeleis are bloody good mods but I've always been put off by their cosmetics also the 100 watts has been reported as not firing true with sub ohms and high watts.

When it comes to high wattage, the Naos Raptor 20amp (120w) and Murata OKL2 (100w) are deemed as better chips but they don't come in massed produced mods. A part from manufactures own OEMs chips; Only the Yihi 330, that's in the sigelei will fire that high and comes in mass produced mods, I'm really surprised that sigelei hasn't released a mod using the yihi sx350 by now.

Battery wise, you want a battery that has the continuous amp rating of
max mod wattage / 2.5 = required continuous amp rating.

with preference to the battery with the higher mah.

I'm lazy so I just get the good batteries that will run in all my mods and swap them around, as all my devices are roughly the same wattage and single battery. With dual battery devices, you want the pair to stay together and ideally in the same mod but keep swapping the order that they are inserted into the device.

EDIT: On the small mod front.. I would hold out for the Joyetech Evic VT, if you can live with the design, I love it.. the rumored specs look amazing, 5000mah, 60w with temp control in a small package. I know I want one. Also HCigar have a DNA40 gold c frame coming out very soon.

As it stands budget is somewhat unlimited, came in to a little bit of money, I can warrant setting some of it aside for a few new mods, although mods like the majority of DNA40's don't appeal to me at their price point and what the offer to me over others. I think I'm going to give the IPV4 a whirl, uses an SX330-V4S chip apparently, £60 @ myepack :)

I will forever ingrain this information in my mind, something I knew absolutely nothing about and will make buying batteries much much easier.

Got 120ml of green crack and an atlantis 2 (couldn't resist not trying the .3 coils at 70w) to be here by sat, just in time for my birthday :D

Thanks for the help, appreciated :)

No worries mate... Happy Birthday... It's mine next week and I've just refused/didn't offer to buy a zero sx for £520 pounds, crazy money and that was considered cheap for that device.

I'll be very interested in a real world review of the IPV4 once you get it.

Top man cheers. Not too happy with the DNA40 chip like Slinx. That ramp up,although not an age in reality, dosnt need to exist at all really. My segelei was just...BAM!
