Hi guys I just received this motherboard and when I have to come to mount it in the case I'm struggling to get it lined up with the mount holes.

I then noticed the board looks to be curved/bent making it very difficult to line up with the I/O shield.

Should I be worried?

Have had a few like that. Once nipped down it will straighten out anyhow.

Ah cheers. It just makes it very difficult to line up with io shield and I am having to push the board towards the shield (far more than I have ever done before) to get the board lined up with the mount holes on the case.

once you wangle it into the io shield it will hold it in shape, then as you screw down the board it should take any kinks out

then test to see its all working, esp seeing all the memory in the bios

IIRC I do recall that boards were supposed to have a slight bow in them so when you put the cooler on (Stock I believe) the tension of the cooler pulls it straight otherwise it would bow in the other direction.
