** TITAN X IN STOCK & NEW LOWER PRICE!! **

I expect people who buy these aren't bothered about a free game, but that's not really the point as you say..

Maybe because it's not a 9 series strictly speaking and nv only have enough codes for 9 series expected sales

Well I am considering it for my next build but would be gutted if I didnt get the games when cheaper cards get them.

OC3D confirmed that parts of the leaked benchmarks are spot on and it really doesn't blow it away going by those.

I'll wait and see if the 390X is worth the wait or if it's more internet made BS.

So basically the TX/390X will be running neck and neck via an inevitable nvidia "performance" driver update with the 390X having less VRAM and competing on price with the cut down GM200 card.

Doesn't the 'next' card always 'blow away' the current card according to 'leaked benchmarks' every time, only for the card to mildly out perform it buy around 10-20% on release? Of course if AMD can produce something that out performs Titan X then they can price it accordingly. I'#ll believe it when I see it though. If AMD could beat Titan X for 2/3rds of the price, wouldn't they? It has to be said that if they really want to gain market share with NVidia taking 76% of the GPU market in Q4 2014 they should want to (I'll admit Q4 2014 is a limited period and NVidia were pushing 9xx sales pretty strongly at the time) desperately.

Well the TX was only released at the end of march and the 390X will be released at the end of June, that's a very small gap of release windows and Nvidia probably already knew the general performance of the 390X, They're all in each others business any way :p

Probably, I can see this being another 290X/780 Ti/Titan Black situation all over again.

Those were the old leaks and nothing new there, thrown in with a bunch of other forum rumours (also removed). Notice OC3D originally posted the image for a couple of days before pulling it and confirmed it fake, months after several other sites did.

If a 6GB GM200 comes in at £650 tops for full core and 12GB GM200 is selling for £800, surely you'd pay an extra £150 right now? Albeit it's only useful for those with 3 screens or good old 1440 and right up to 2160 displays.

Understandable to think twice like I did when you look at SLI, personally wouldn't pay than £600 per card tops. Saying that through gritted teeth when highend GPUs used to cost £230 7 years ago :p 1/32 double precision means for work its asking a lot - even the Quadro M6000 is based on the same chip and lacks double precision.

Tom at OC3D literally confirmed some of the leaks yesterday saying some of them are "spot on" in a forum conversation :)

My guess is if someone has the Moolah for a Titan X a free game code isn't gonna sway their decision, so they save the gimmicks / codes for the mainstream cards. Titan X sells itself.

I apologize for the use of the word 'Moolah'.

As a current Titan X owner I'm sorely tempted to buy a second. I've looked at the OC3D article and it says that the 390X has only 4 GB VRAM, so that's an automatic no for me.

That would be enough for me to discount that information as being accurate. They aren't that stupid to release their new high end card with 4GB.
