I have just had my first crash of the day.

It happens (CTD with failed to initialize) when I get a GPU spike and a frame time (not shown) that is over 166ms

This might have already been mentioned, but if you turn on in-game depth of field, set your camera to third person and record a video you can add effects and mess about in the Rockstar editor.

Once they look how you want you can hide the menus with H and take a screenshot.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but does anyone know why the top speed of just about every car is limited to 110mph no matter what you do to it?

Slipstreaming and franklin's special can get the cars above that speed, but as soon as you stop doing that the cars slow right down again
 
So something strange is happening when i play this and I dont think it was happening before. My 2nd 290 refuses to go above 300mhz but only in this game ive tried it in other games and it works fine. I'm sure it used to work fine in this aswell but playing it earlier today and noticed the framerate had dropped massively and that appears why. Any ideas? Ive checked ulps is off (turned it back on and off again to be sure) turned crossfire off and on again aswell.

What card are you ?

Seems to happen a lot. I have put adaptive sync on via Nvidia control panel, and it has not changed from 60, where as before it would default to 59 for some unknown, only to R*, reason.....

Thanks! Turning up reflections all the way makes things a lot prettier too and it also has no noticeable effect on performance. Also, there's an option in Steam settings that allows you to save screenshots to a different folder and under that same menu you can force it to save a full resolution copy of screenies.

There's an online speed limiter in place, probably for lag etc reasons. Cars in SP go much faster obviously despite a similar limiter being present there.
 
I only had the occasional crash at first but now it's all the time. Event viewer is saying it's something to do with atidxx64.dll
 
Criminal Mastermind started with Nexus, first heist done. Josh, been speaking to Patsy, would you be up for making a run for this 10mil achievement? if so give him a shout, you both need to do fleeca on hard, then all four of us can carry on as the crew for the other heists. No deaths, on hard, all heists done in order with the same crew if your not sure what it is.

Epic fun with tony tonight, nothing like taking a romantic drive up the mountain, watching the sun set then speeding of and tumbling non-stop to the bottom and ending the night with a skinny dipping session (had to paint over our naughty parts)

I'm up for that, so me and Pat have to do it together on hard yeah? I'll chuck him a message.

Is it just hard or do we have to do the elite challenge also?
