Its also because bungie are on the west cost and want to release everything when they are in the office, not with everybody on overtime to release it at 2am or whatever. If issues are discovered early doors they will want to be working on a hot fix asap. Also gives them chance to fix any issues that don't require a release as and when they happen.
 
So I ascended my achylophage symbiote helmet to see what it would do but all I think it did was increase defence. Didn't raise my level past 32 (was curious).
 
Decent day 1 so far. Picked up for my Hunter the Vanguard auto rifle (using my Warlock's marks) as I've been after one for ages, and also the gauntlets. Also got the chest from an engram. Went from Level 30 to 3 light away from Level 32. Should be able to max out my Vanguard marks this week and get those boots to hit it.

Got a 4 day weekend as I'm off work on Friday, so I know what I'll be doing :)

I still need to do Nightfall though. Would be great if we could get a team tomorrow.
 
Had a good evening - only did the NFs and got my first Exotic - the new Hunter gauntlets so lucked in there

Not touched the story nor PoE - spent a lot of time getting my head around how all the currencies worked and whats worth buying. Having two towers with seperate vendors is likely to be a pain at times!

If anyone needs to do the NF's tomorrow give me a shout because I've still got 3 to do as I got in late. Only managed to get the first story mission done.

Absolutely loving this expansion so far. So much content. Me, Rabbit and Venom smashed the 28, 32 and 34 PoE. Roll on 35 tomorrow!

Picked up The Ram on one of my alts. It's err... odd.
 
Did the story and then bashed the level 28 PoE with Midg and Apatia. Had fun, I was proper excited NEW ENEMIES! NEW STUFF!! I had the fantastic, the amazing, the one and only 2nd Hawkmoon drop for me in PoE, so I now have a 331 max attack and 365 max attack Hawkmoon... Sorry OweO :p

Although, anyone know how these keys work? Do we get one for running high level PoE's or are they in the wild?
 
I did PoE with randoms, got Dragons Breath from the chest at the end... Now I have a 365 Thunderlord to go with my 365 Gjally.

PoE seems to be pretty fun, especially if the challenges are going to change each time you do it.

I got my keys from the fallen chests & one for completing the story. If you have one on you when you complete the PoE (at any difficulty) you can open the big chest at the end to get more loot.

Enjoying the expansion so far. Running with our clan last night (sorry to anyone who sent me a message and I didn't respond) and we got through the story, Nightfall and level 28 PoE content. Ran out of time to run anything else but we will no doubt hit up the level 32 PoE next. The level 28 one was fine although the Cabal section (which we had twice in a row) felt tougher than any of the others (luckily we had a taste of all them in one run). Did it after a couple of wipes - I think we were flagging a little as one of the wipes was down to me charging the enemy not realising two of them were majors...

I enjoyed the Shadow thief strike. We ran it straight up as a NF and only wiped once when we got teleported into the walker room (we were faffing about in the doorway tweaking our loadouts). Found a couple of reasonable cover spots although they can in no way be considered cheeses...

Got myself a new Titan hat (with infusion), Warlock gauntlets, Pulse rifle (VG one which has a nice roll), Scout rifle (firefly... :D) & Arc tracking rocket launcher (after re-roll).

I have upgraded every Exotic piece of armour and all of the exotic weapons I want to use (minus one IB as I ran out of glimmer for about the 4th time). The Vex at 365 is brutal, as is Red Death.

Just need either an armour core or Etheric light to get Pigtails to level 33. Still got 2 NF's to do and te 32 PoE across all three chars. The onto level 34 PoE...

Overall a positive start although the Reef itself is a little, well, naff (I was expecting it to be a bit bigger tbh).

I'm up for doing the Nightfalls with any team as I need to do all 3 as well.

We had a couple of tries last night but were just scoping out the best places to hang around. We would have sorted it but didn't see the invisible melee's spawn with the captain until it was too late and we all got cornered.

I'll be at 32 for the next attempts though which will help a lot.


Also, I did a quick heroic story with my crappy Warlock this morning and it dropped the G'Horn for me from a legendary engram. So if I ascend my fully upgraded one, I'll have 2x 365's of it.
 
Have to say loved this last night, managed to get 3 nightfalls and PoE up to Lvl 34 done with Omgea & Dr3ddPS. Nightfall is a breeze after the first time and speed runs can be done in under 10 minutes, but took us about 20-30 with my constant disconnects :mad: PoE is great new addition, 32 and upwards really promotes good team work and communication, it a shame that RNG has not been kind while key farm as I only had two (used them), so only have the one left now.

In PoE did other ppls get randomly teleported around the arena, for what seem no reason, and normally at the worst possible time?

On of our fireteam did in the 4th round fighting the Cabal. Was really random and sadly caused a wipe (mainly as he was teleported whilst trying to defuse a mine - I couldn't get there in time due to the enemy AI deciding at that moment to aggro completely on Pigtails... ).

Breezed through it the next time though when I realised my Vex counted as a special weapon for the "specialist" buff...
 
Did the 3 NFs first time, no wipes. The Brawler modifier is fun :) No etheric for me, so still 32. Blitzed through the story on heroic with Anti and Apatia, liked some of the missions but tbh we were just smashing through it as fast as possible.

Managed the 28 PoE before it got too late here. Got quite a few weapons in all.

Anyone around about 1130GMT (morning) today to do a 32 PoE run, or maybe some sneaky trials of osiris?

Does anyone know if the PoE big chest has different drops on each level? Or can I just jump in matchmaking and do it to use my spare keys?
