Monaco Grand Prix 2015, Monte Carlo - Race 6/19

I'll watch the qualifying as that'll determine the result basically, the race I might not bother with, maybe highlights :p

I like Monaco, it would be a shame to see a series with all generic tracks. You need tie different circuits. And one with hardly any safety margin is essential for the mix.

I like Monaco as a sceptical. Plus there is something about seeing an F1 car go round streets you've been round yourself, so you can appreciate just how tight and demanding the track is.

Unlike many of the circuits on the calendar you won't hear many drivers complaining that the track is boring or tame.

It is a shame you can't overtake here though, and I'd like to see DRS allowed in the tunnel.

spectacle you mean?

Looks like the track has been slightly altered this year, according to F1Fanatic:
The drivers now arrive at the corner slightly earlier as the section of track which links the Tabac left-hander to the start of the Swimming Pool complex has been moved closer to the harbour by 2.5 metres.

The change has shortened the official lap length by three metres to 3.337 kilometres. The race distance of 78 laps will not be altered, Monaco being the only race run for 260 kilometres instead of the usual 305.

The barrier on the inside of turn 15, the right-hander in the Swimming Pool complex, has also been moved since last year to give drivers a better view of the corner.

More than half of the track has been resurfaced since last year, including the start/finish area, Casino, the entry to the tunnel, the Swimming Pool complex and pit lane.

You mean the last 3 drivers to have won a WDC in a refuelling era... shock!

And Button says the 2004 season was the best car wise. I knew the top drivers backed what I think ;)

they know a lot more then you even if you don't think so......V8\10\12 RULES Button said

If they could keep the engines (drivers like the torque apparently), add some noise and make the cars less complicated to run, along with reducing downforce, then the racing would likely improve.

Liked last years piece on doing the Monaco gp on a budget and luxury comparison. Ted spent a couple hundred quid, the luxury one was £900,000.

Yet the working group have come up with the exact opposite. More down force, more complicated, worse racing :(

Hamilton has really become a douche hasn't he.

I always wonder when people will work it out, Miley Cyrus and Gaga with pretty much everything they do, most celebs at most awards. The ENTIRE point is to shock, the more they wear things that make people talk the more they are in the press. The more they are in the press the more people read about them and lots of people think they want to know what they'll be up to next. This is how they get so much media attention, all these people who do nothing but say things for shock value or dress like retards... to get in the papers, to get sponsorship deals, to get tv shows, to increase the number of people that follow them.

99% of the people who are most talked about are the ones who do the most shocking things. They play most people for utter fools, Hamilton gets more attention than others. Which of you are talking about how everyone else was dressed, who has his image plastered all over twitter, and likely every paper tomorrow, the guy who is dressed normally or the guy who dresses exactly as required to cause controversy.

He's not a douche, he's making you pay attention to him more than other drivers and is getting paid more precisely because of that attention. Anyone who thinks they have the first clue how Rosberg, Hamilton, Schumacher, Alonso or Button are (or 99% of celebrities) out of the spotlight are delusional.

Assuming they want to be talked about. Not everyone wants to draw attention to themselves.
