Ok so the latest rumour has the Fiji card as a halo product with the 390x spot taken up by the rebranded 290x.

So if that is the case what will they call it?


New thread for a lots of silly and I'm sure not so silly names. its just for FUN and it might just help with the waiting.(just remember this is a family forum)

It has to be,

AMD Zeus

or

as a wild card,

AMD Prometheus

For those that don't know, Prometheus sided with Zeus and they waged war against the Titans.

If AMD don't use either of these names it will be an almost criminal waste :p

Some other Olympians that beat the Titan's were.

Poseidon
Apollo
Ares
Hephaestus
Hermes

Any of the above would be cool..

Careful Prometheus also brought fire to us humans. Could need Poseidon to cool that mofo down:D Mind you, they would qualify that as xfire:cool:

+1. I suggested this in the 390x speculation thread with the same reasoning. But only if it can beat the TitanX. Only then can it be known as the Titan-(X)-Killer, the Olympian Zeus! Prometheus was less of a Titan Killer than Zeus though, Olympian would do or Zeus more specifically since he killed his Titan dad. Maybe Zeus would be better as an Nvidia Titan killer name then...?
