Need more reliable connectors and tubing.

I'm totally fed up with these XSPC G1/4" 45° Rotary Fittings leaking unless precessioned perfectly. I'm thinking about changing all the fitments and tubing to something a lot more reliable?

I currently use Primochill PrimoFlex Pro LRT 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD tubing with all XSPC fitments. My temperatures are pretty terrible also atm so I'm thinking new tubing/connectors a complete flush and fresh fluid added might be a good idea.

Any recommendations for more reliable hopefully leak-free connectors ?
 
I have been running loads of EK compression fittings and barbs with 0 issues over the last year. Had a fair few alphacool rotary barbs leak. Not bad considering they are a 3rd of the price of bitspower.

Your tubing should be fine, primochill is some of the best tubing around. However the ends will get stretched by the previous fittings so it might be worth trimming the mangled ends off.

I recently rebuilt my rig and went down the line of Monsoon compression fittings and a M2 bay reservoir with a D5 pump and I have too say I love it!
No more unsightly jubilee clips! I have two 45 degree and two 90 degree rotary coupling's and all has thus far been well and truly dry.
 
Thanks I was looking at the Monsoon range but know nothing about there reliability.
I'm trying to steer clear of bitspower as they cost to much for me.
 
Should add I'm Folding 24/7 and gaming GTA V, World of Tanks and Elite Dangerous plus e-mails surfing etc so basically 99% load on the CPU 24/7 365 unless Windows does an install that I miss for a few hours.
 
Got 10 monsoon compression fittings,had no issues so far look great too.

Just redid my loop on Friday and added 1 ek 90 and 2 ek 45 degree rotary, fine so far :)
 
All rotary fittings regardless of brand are liable to leak if pressure is applied to the oring seal. How did you have your tubing? Was there any torquing or pressure on the rotaries?

I had xspc ones like you and only had one leak and that was because of what I've said above.

I have no idea how bitspower get away with pricing their bits the way they do, it's insane!

That is only half the story.

If you compare the 90 rotatory from Koolance vs Bitspower, it's very clear that the joint in the cheaper fitting is a lot weaker than that in the more expensive fitting. This may be an extreme comparison, but it's simply unfair to say that Bitspower is no different to the other fittings.
 
+1 on monsoon compression fittings. I've just taken the build I did about a year ago out from under the desk for a good dusting and everything is rock solid.

As said before, chop the ends off the tubing if you are re-using it, and use the dunk the end in a mug of hot water trick when fitting to make the tubing more pliable. It hugely reduces the amount of force you need to get it over the barb.
 
Thanks I have ordered a load of Monsoon fittings now and new tubing.
These XSPC connectors arn't cheap so I'm a little annoyed I'm having to replace so many as all the swivel joints leak if the tubing is moved at all...
 
Been using Monsoon without issue, altho I'm hearing stories that their acrylic collars can crack. But if you are sticking with soft tubing then that's of no concern.
I use Primochill LRT with mine also btw.
