Hi everyone

Just curious to know if anyone has this laptop and if so what your thoughts are on it? I really like the look of it for a general gaming laptop. I recently bought one from PC Specialist but returned it after a day due to issues i was having with it locking up. The laptop i returned actually had a 2gb 970 so i guess the 4gb 860 in this will not have as much grunt but just curious on the build quality and value for moneyof the gigabyte

Thanks all

Hi liamcrance,

There are a few variations of the P35G in the market with different configurations of HDD and SSD.

This model is the cheapest at OcUK and has 2 spare SSD bays inside should you wish to add at a later date.

The other model has 1 on board.

The chassis is solid and slim and you should find plenty of reviews out there of the P35 model with different GPUs in.

Not the end "ownder" feedback you are looking for I know, but I can say that I use a P35 for business, and pleasure and quality is excellent. Mine is actually and older generation, so refinements to build have taken place since this one.

Hope that helps anyway,

I can't comment on the P35 but I bought a P34 about 18 months ago. It has travelled the world with me and played every game I have thrown at it. Assuming the build quality of the P35 is the same then you won't have any issues on that front.

Hi jkb,

Thanks for the input. FYI liamcrane, same factory (ours) same quality and similar chassis design.

Hope that gives further peace of mind.

Many thanks guys for the input. Think I am going to treat myself to one of these. Is the main difference between the CF1 model and the CF4 models just the extra ssd that you get? The gpu seems to be the same and I guess having 4gb of vram that should help on the gaming front? If that's the only real difference I have 2 spare 64gb ssd's I could throw in so would the cheaper £899 be the best option do you think?
