Air Conditioning Cleaner - Which One?

So I'm looking to get one of them aerosols you use inside the car with the Aircon running at full tilt to kill any bacteria in the system. There seems to be loads of choice here so does anyone have a recommendation?

I have used Autoglym and the cheaper Comma one with the same result. I always use Comma now.

Is there any danger the vapour could stain the seats? I have velour seats just and wondered if it may stain them. Thanks for the response!

I bought a two-pack of cheapy ones on eBay and they worked fine. I sat it on the centre arm rest and aimed it forwards.

Just wondering what way to set the Aircon when using these? Do you select the button with the arrow going back on itself or the one with the arrow coming in from outside? Sorry but I'm a total noob when it comes to these things lol!

Ok thanks will check it out. So I set it to Recirculate when I activate the spray then switch it back when done.

Used this for years; in fact this just reminded me to get a few for our cars. It does a lot fresher afterwards. I even used it to remove cigarette smoke in my first car. My only issue is that it sometime stops even though there is still liquid inside so I have to get tape the button down so it keeps spraying.

Replace your pollen filter before doing it. Otherwise you're polishing a turd..

Yeah the filter isn't that old Bledd. The Aircon has not been used in a long time and just used it the other week. I now have a bit of a chest infection and cough. I'm not blaming the Aircon but for the sake of a few quid I would rather have it sterilised from any nasties.
