Tonester is right, as i said yesterday the 390X is pig ugly, it looks like a packet of Embassy cigarettes

If you actually followed the thread you'd realise he's talking about the one in the ign article, the small one with the red and black heatsink and fan.

ROFL if it looks like this seriously.

that's ugly too, it's a Dinky toy, a real man buys a Titan X, AMD is run by a woman and it's starting to show ;)

some of us have to work, we dont have time to go back over two pages

It was on the end of the last page so bleh :D

Funny that you have time to regurgitate the same rhetoric you were spouting yesterday though. I guess work comes second to getting another sad dig in at amd for no apparent reason.

I really want the 390x to be as good as we hope, not because I want one but just to put some proper competition back into the GPU market and make nvidia nervous again.

I also want the same in the CPU market and hope AMD bring back the competition.

all BOOM sees is another card to waste his money on, it doesn't matter who makes it...........good luck to him.

Indeed, although at these prices I am starting to question if it's worth it.

I hope £850+ doesn't become standard price for flagship. Although as a positive it might mean I can no longer keep up with the latest stuff and may end saving money :p

yea it does, work sucks compared to posting in here...........i always love a good laugh when i'm on here

but i'm not having a go without a reason....that 390X photo really is too small.......it's a teeny weeny toy card, :D

buying that box of cigarettes makes me feel robbed, i want a chunky card in my hand

You could always buy an after market cooler and stick some weights on the end to get the really small board to give it that bent look that you are after.

I don't normally post here, but it never ceases to amaze me how often i've checked here for info, only to see people arguing in the graphics card part of the forum.. Hell it wouldn't be normal to not see it now :p

you've had it yes it is, forget this 390X look at the Dual card instead, or a much bigger tv ;).............because choosing a bigger tv is much more fun ;););););)

seriously though, you've got a TX, this 390X is a sideways upgrade or on a 5 degree upward slope, big deal man, your next upgrade needs to be 180% more powerful including maybe DDR4 and a way better CPU...... your next upgrade might therefore be next year (to keep up with 4k)

dont buy a 390X, rebuild the whole rig next year

It's been the norm for Nvidia for a while. It strikes me it'll stay that way. AMD will start competing with Nvidia in that price range, then there will be the consumer cards which the majority of us will buy.
