Yeah, but what about under that? I seriously hope the R9 370X/380X is at least a fully enabled Tonga(2048 shaders instead of 1792 shaders with the R9 285),with DX12 and at least some improvements to power consumption.

But I am expecting just more direct rebadges TBH!:(

They need the cards to be DX12 and free-sync capable so there's got to be some major changes made somewhere. I can't see the 7950/7970/280/280x chips being used in there obvious one level down position (370/370x) so below Fiji it's Hawaii and like you mentioned it must be Tonga under that, Hopefully the full Tonga. That way the top three ranges are all Free-sync models.

Wouldn't put it past AMD to release cards that don't support their current top tech like Freesync.

Especially as they still can't support it properly with their top end gpu currently in the 295x2.

This is the thing that worries me most about this VR edition card that is coming, it sounds too much like a 295x2 so could potentially end up gimped via driver support.

yea i was right, it's cheap and nasty looking..horrid bright red letters on a shiny surface, it'll appeal to somebody that drives a Ford Focus RS :D

i dont agree, i think it looks good
interesting is the pics i think it was chiphell? where it has barbs, which means a proper waterblock, they could just be a render but its still interesting and the look of the card is the same

comparing it to the competition i think the original titan/780 looked great at the time and kind of still does but i think all the different variants now not so much, its not a glitzy looking card but i think it looks more modern, lets see how it cools :)

we'll see ;) but i deffo dont like the way it looks, it looks cheap and crude...if you look at a 290X with a full water block cover it looks great, because the card should look dark and menacing, not bright and garish like this Chinese toy thing.

think Batman.....gun metal and carbon fibre, with a hint of colour, but definitely not screaming in your face, you think i'm trolling i'm not i'm deadly serious, this is not a Fanboy thing

You're horribly wrong. I found it also very appealing, so it works just fine for us Ford Focus ST users aswell.

I think the card looks nice. Although one thing I hate, that huge branding on the side :(

i duno i kind of like theyve kept the old radeon name going, the red should match all the bazillion red motherboards out there too
like to see it with a sweet custom backplate or something :)

we'll see ;) but i deffo dont like the way it looks, it lacks style, it looks crude... you might feel the same in a months time

nah i think we just differ on what looks good lol!

I think it looks great, I find it hilarious how passionate people can feel about the look of a graphics card. I prefer to look at my monitor when I'm playing a game and not into a case window.

This. I bought Noctua fans, not because I like the prosthetic limb beige, but because I thought they were the right fan for the job.

lol! but a lot of people do care or there wouldnt be so many cases with side windows
i think they might start to go out of fashion tho!?
im over them anyway
some of the old lian-li cases with no sidewindows still look the best to me, more....grownup

Yeah that's fair enough. Personally I went with a fractal r3 with no side window, but before that I had some awful £25 thing with a side window and blue LEDs. I'm past that but I know that's the kind of thing a lot of people like.
