no link as I don't want to get into trouble. But the sennheiser outlet store is doing some impressive prices on refurbs.

code of VALUED35 takes another 35% off . sorted myself out with a nice gaming headset :D

hd700 for £214 :o

and 650's for £162 that's a bargain

Yea I saw that 35% off and outlet deal today too.

But already looking at the outlet page again and again, I asked myself "do I really need to blow more money on getting another headphone, when the chances are even the HD700 isn't going to be much better than my X1?"

Then I did the sensible thing and decided to ignore it.

Good choice, it's easy to blow money on things you don't need :p

Saw this today and couldn't resist the rs 220 at £104 :-) considering I nearly bought the astro a50s on the £150 deal these should be even better.

Really tempted to order the HD700's. Good improvement over Fidelio X1's or are they a different sound entirely?
Dunno...but according to someone who have tried both X2 and the HD700, he said while no doubt the HD700 is very good at presenting the details accurately, it sound more "flat".

He decided go with the X2 instead because of his preference of lending toward the "more fun and and exciting" side.

Still sat in basket 1 hour later, trying to find comparisons with the X1's but because there's a massive price bracket difference I don't think anyone has really done one.

Only have an ASUS Xonar Essence STX sound card to drive them as well.
