Moshpits / Ninja pits

Not since women started joining in and then getting upset when they get trodden on

They usually get the option to leave. If they don't they are subject to the same as everyone else.

I have seen teenie boppers at an asking alexandria gig listening to bands who were on before like Ghost inside. They soon work out to get out the way or get crushed / knocked around / stood on. Its just not nice to see when they physically cannot get out because tgere are too many people. Thats when its time to get them crowd surfing to safety

Moshing is for homos

Yes let's bash in to someone until eventually your penis enters there bumhole

Bahah that Thomas the tank one is funny. That's harmless cybergoths though dancing to techno or hardstyle.

Not smashing the crap out of each other listening to rock

The rugby grandstand in the village where I grew up had a huge graffiti stating "Moshers Rule"

Never been in one so don't really understand them. Surely the point is to be there to enjoy the music, what's enjoyable about them?

If you want to fight just fight, why use music as an excuse? Play NFL or rugby if you want to bash into people.

Edit - oh I see, the circles are where people (essentially) play rugby with a few arm swings? Whereas a pit is just people bouncing around? I absolutely hate people bumping into me so this would definitely be a no-no.

It's weird, back in my youth I've left the more hardstyle/dark core rooms in clubs before when things were getting a bit silly, it's kinda like a bunch of Elk rutting to impress the females, except there's not many (if any) females to impress.

I've never really understood moshing, whether it be to heavy metal or hard techno, why don't they just have a fight? I'd rather just dance and enjoy the music.

Never seen the point/reason for mosh pits? - But never experienced one either

You would have to be a fan of Metal for a start to get it.

Its aggressive music, and as such warrants an aggressive reaction (despite the universal rule of not trying to hurt each other) speaking from experience, bands don't like it when the crowd just stands there.

If you want to fight just fight, why use music as an excuse? Play NFL or rugby if you want to bash into people.

Its not fighting.

Moshing is stupid and the bands who "don't like you just standing there" are usually terrible bands.

I used to like bands like Pantera but I'm into my prog rock nowadays. Still listen to metal occasionally but I would not mosh.

Pantera were one of those don't like you just standing there bands.

Have chinned more than my fair share of tools in/near mosh pits.

Being six foot eight, most people think the idea of outright attacking me if I'm near a mosh pit is 'ok'.
