What do you think is better for gaming AKG K712's or HD 700? I believe the AKG's soundstage is better.
Hmm HD700 really tempting at that price - as they wouldn't get used enough over my 600s to justify paying full price :S
EDIT: Can't talk myself into it somehow even though I love the looks of the 700s... just aren't going to get used enough.

Didn't know the site has is supported quidco
Could I submit a claim on quidco if I forgot to track it?
They are not at all suited to using on the tube - open design + physical design hadn't been done with portability in mind.
I woke up this morning didn't expect that I would be saying goodbye to £200~ today...didn't even had the chance to give it a proper sent-off...It's only money right![]()

The momentums are excellent for portable use - though personally I think the on-ears are better than the over-ears for that but that is somewhat subject to taste. They aren't perfect for sound isolation (but do a reasonable job of blocking external noise) but low leakage and stay on the head well (comfort might be a bit subjective) and the sound quality is excellent (aslong as you don't try using the 4 pole jack version of the cable with devices that are only compatible with 3 pole *cough*).
EDIT: I'm not familiar with the Audio Technica ATH-M50XBL so can't really give a comparison.
EDIT2: They also have a couple of options of the Amperior on there which are designed for portable use though I'm not a big fan personally - though designed off a similar base as the momentums.
