The original is a classic, this looks ... meh :(

Whats with the cast of unknowns, thought Gerald Butler was supposed to be in this?

It looked like something I would watch once then never again...until Ray Winstone came in with a yank accent.

I refuse to watch this on general principal - I love the original and won't sully it's reputation by accepting that it's been remade! :D

The original was the first ever widescreen video I bought to play on the first ever, heavy as hell, widescreen CRT TV I owned.
 
Jesus H. I love the first one, nothing in that trailer makes me want to do anything except watch the original again and remove the memory of that trailer.
 
I don't think it's looks that bad if you ignore the Point Break title.

They should have just given it a new title instead of trying to market it with the Point Break name. The people who remember the first film won't like this one taking it's name, and the people who don't remember the first one won't care.

I think the two main actors don't seem the have the charm of Swayze or Reeves, but they've obviously upped the budget for more spectacular stunts and effects.
 
Looking forward to it, but will have to ignore the original. Interested to see what the base/skydiving stunts are like.
