First thing's first, many thanks for all your help on my exhaust issue.

Next topic, looking to refurb the wheels shall I keep them silver or maybe a different colour? what works?

Oh good its this thread again

Black alloys are horrible

lol, sorry to re-awaken horrible memories, but was just a thought you see in my head they look nice, but in reality it could be a horror story, maybe a gun metal colour will look better then silver on a black car?

Gunmetal could look nice, but depends on the wheel imo.

Safest bet would be silver.

...This is coming from someone who has bronze/gold alloys on his black car :p However they do suit it really well!

On a car like this, keep it standard or standard-looking. Black wheels on a Mazda6 is just going to look Ebay-special.

This. No offence meant, however with something relatively normal such as a Mazda 6, anything other than the OEM colour of the alloys will end up looking like the owner is trying far too hard to be unique.

Anthracite is just an odd halfway house that, whilst it can look good, would be pointless and you may as well just go for silver again. Black would look good in your eyes for about a week whilst you think "it's custom to me, and I love it!", then slowly you'll start to look at it and think how non-standard colour alloys on an otherwise completely standard family saloon look a bit silly. Then you'll have to pay for another complete refurb to go back to silver again.
