gtx hof 8pack

I'd never buy a card just because of some bloke on the front, I buy for quality and so far from my previous experience of a KFA2 card it was naff. It's either EVGA or Gigabyte or go home ;)

Wait for the 980 Ti's

I've had a couple KFA2 cards in the past. There good. no issues, but like everyone else has said wait for what 980ti bring or AMD.

Paying a premium on some video of a guy lifting weights is a a strange one on me with better cards so close to release which will be around this price makes me agree with the others just wait a little longer

8Pack would be sad reading this thread. But I'm sure he'd also understand the best course of action is to wait till all the new cards aree out before making a choice. This card could get price drops too, so it may still be a possibility.

I think 8PACK has done bloody well with that card for a first attempt, you wouldn't complain if that was his name on a super tuned TITAN X now would you, so there you go, he's maybe chosen the wrong card.

we all loved the MSI Lightning 290X, well that could easily be an 8PACK card next time ;)
