Arnie is back in 'Legend of Conan'

Hoping for a decent Conan film, although that is probably unlikely. As long as it's better than the terrible recent Conan film, then that at least will be something.

Is he in dire need of money or something? He's 67, worth a few hundred million yet seems to want to get made up to appear vaguely younger for sequels to movies he worked on decades ago.

Maybe he just enjoys starring in films? And being paid money to do so. I don't see how that seems so crazy/confusing.

Most of which he appears too old for, a lot of these movies as of late ideally should have been done maybe 15 years ago where it would still be plausible. Half the movies he appears in these days even though he's made up to look younger he still looks too old for the part he plays.

Suppose this could be different if he's playing an age he represents.

A proper sequel to Predator would make chronological sense. Thirty years later, a certain trophy finds himself hunted through the streets...

Directors in the 80s had the freedom of an (18) rating. Now they're restricted towards a younger, profitable audience and films just don't reach their potential.

A Conan sequel that will probably be rated (12)? What's the point.

Sitting in the pub reminiscing over half a pint of beer, 'twill be exciting.

Ah I remember crushing my enemies <sip>, seeing them driven before me <rustles in the bag for a pork scratching>, and I tell you - hearing the lamentations of those women...

last conan the barbarian movie sucked baddddd ... my wife never sees 'my movies' but convinced her to see that one and I felt embarrassed

Its possible he is playing King Conan in the film and therefor looking older would be appropriate. I would imagine going by current trends, the main character will be a spunky young female fighter who is rebellious and impulsive but ends up being taught the way of Conan by Arnie ;)
