Cooler for I7 4690K

I am running the stock cooler on a I7 4690K CPU, the stock I am told is awful. Can someone recommend a decent aftermarket cooler that is up to £100 budget (ideally a fair bit less)?

I'm using an Corsair Hydro H105 on my i7 is an 4790k. Brilliant cooler, highly recommended and under £100

4790k is a very hot chip, One of these is perfect on a £100 budget imo. Some people love them some people hate them. Personally i have a custom loop and its still a hot chip.

What case are you using?

if you want cheap you can go for EVO 212, around £25 and is a very good air cooler.
if you want water AIO will be cheaper around £60-120 corsair has some good ones
you can always go for a custom loop and improve/modify as needed.
cheap kits are for around £150

As above we need to know which case first to know what will fit.
I'd get a Noctua NH D14 or D15, d15 is currently the same sort of price only get the D14 if £55 or less.

What case are you using?

At the moment its in a Silverstone HTPC case but I am shortly going to purchase a Corsair Carbide 540, and have decided on a H110i cooler.

Brilliant cooler for the money although not great for all cases due to the size
