Card dead after installing 15.5 drivers?

Just tried the 7950 in another machine and same thing black screen. The 5770 worked fine in it. I got a long beep and then 3 short ones out of the 7950 on startup if that means anything?

Going to try disabling my onboard VGA and see if that works but I fear this card is most likely gone.

Any news on a release date for the 390s? Last I heard was just June.

think it means you forgot to connect the power 6 + 8 pin power

or "Asus p5q board 1 long 3 short is no VGA detected."

Thanks for the reply, I thought it may be something with the power leads as this spare machine even though its a 700w PSU like mine, only had 1x 6 pin lead.
I had to use another 4 pin to 6 pin jumper to get the 2x 6 pins needed for my 7950. So I'm not sure its working then if its giving off them beeps. I did though try both 6 pin connections separately with my 5770 and they both worked fine with that card. But I'll swap them around a bit more see if Ive connected them wrong somewhere.

Also the mobo in this spare machine is an Asus P5NE and I havent used the onboard VGA of that yet.

I just tried disabling the VGA on my machine trying to force it to see my 7950 but still no luck :(

Thanks
