Howdy,

As things stand I have the Saitek X52 Hotas setup.

I am hoping to get some rudder pedals to improve my experience in flight sims and I was just wondering if I needed to get the Saitek ones specifically or if I can do some sort of mix and match and use another brand?

Thats about it really!

If anyone can help or recommend some good pedals I'd be very grateful, thanks!

I have owned the CH pedals for 6+ years now very good pedals (now my backup set)

I got a saitek pro combat pedals a year ago as an upgrade and they are very good

Saitek Cessna Pro pedals are nice, CH are better made but I found them less comfy. It's the only peripheral I have that's Saitek, I use a Thrustmaster T16000M and a CH pro throttle, so not as if I'm biased towards any manufacturer lol

Thanks for the tips guys. I'm not desperate for them right now but it's nice to know I have got some options. I'll keep an eye out for some bargains in the future.

What games are you guys playing?

I play a bit of Elite Dangerous, but I'm not sure that alone can justify me buying a HOTAS, I need more joystick games :/

Hah, if you play any amount of Elite you can justify it, trust me, you can also justify head tracking and pedals ;)

I have Ch products USB rudder pedals which I have owned for 15 years and they are starting to feel their age. But when you consider the amount of use I have had from them it is a miracle they work at all.

I have put a request into the suggestions section of the forum above to stock the saitek combat pedals as I'm now ready to retire my old Ch pedals.

I just think the cessna rudder pedals stocked are too much like the basic all plastic pedals saitek do. The metal combat pedals seem to look more like what I would like to own. Otherwise I'll buy another set of ch pedals and that'll see me ok for the next 15 years+ !!

I'm playing flight sims at the moment. DCS, IL2 and Falcon 4. I'm sure I'll get Elite eventually when its got a bit more content.

Head tracking is a must for these games in my opinion. I find it impossible to play if I have to move the view around with the mouse.
