Good afternoon guys, I've recently just received another 780TI classified to play with and I'm not sure whether this card just didn't get any silicon or isn't how it's suppose to act. From the boost that EVGA apply the core is 1137 and the memory is clocked at 7000Mhz. So I applied a rather basic overclock of 50Mhz on the core and 200 on the memory just to get a little boost but now wanting to take it further as soon as I put 60Mhz there's artifacts so I thought ok maybe it needs a little more voltage however the more voltage I give the card the worse the artifacts are. I thought these cards were supposed to achieve 1300/1400Mhz on the score and like 8000Mhz on the memory?
Any input would be great did I just lose on the silicon lottery or is this a dud from EVGA as I thought these chips were supposed to be binned to allow massive overclocks?
