Upgrade my GTX 560TI to 960 or 970?

My rig as per sig and I'm struggeling to run the Witcher 3 as it sometimes drops below 25 FPS.

I haven't upgraded in a while and just wanted to check that either card will be ok for my current setup.

Looking online I can pick up 2nd hand 970s for around £200.

What card should I go for bang for buck wise? Gaming at 1080P.

Edit: I don't mind picking up a 780 if I can get it for the same price and it is better than the 970 for the resolution I use

The 960 is a decent card but I think the 970 will give you at least one or two more years of running games at high settings so you will probably save more money in the long run by choosing the latter. Oh and wait two more weeks, the release of the new AMD cards may have an impact on the current prices.

im in the same boat my friend, looking to upgrade from a 750Ti, but my intial budget double when i got excited with the new 980Ti coming out, and when i had chance to relax again thought about it seriously :)

im looking at the 970s too, seem the best value for money at 1080 for sure (if youre staying with nvidia)
