Is there an easy way to mount a 120mm fan in an optical bay? Some sort of bracket the with of an optical drive would do it presumably?

Was hoping for something a bit more permanent/less ugly than that. Really I want to mount a H50 radiator in there but if I could connect a fan then that would be easy

Lian Li produce several such bay units, scythe kama bay is another. But hard to find now.

I've used both bay devices I mentioned above, but also hung a 120mm fannin the nays using sewing elastic. No issues with vibrations.

I cable tied one into the 5.25" bays of my old Coolermaster Scout case which had vented and filtered blanking plates and I couldn't see the fan. As it was right at the front of the bay you couldn't see it through the side window either.

My case has the 5.25" bay at the top, gap in the middle, then the HDD bay at the bottom.
I saw there were holes at the bottom of the top bay that I managed to screw the fan into, a 140mm fan.

Does yours have anything like that at all? Even if its not threaded
