6pin to 8pin Power on Graphic Card.

The rule of thumb is generally that if your PSU doesn't have the requisite connectors, you are always best off getting a quality unit that has.

What model and wattage is the one you have at present?
 
And is this actually in a Mac? Or have you fitted it into a PC? And the card you want to connect, is it a gaming card?

Only searched quickly but couldn't find any 12v specs for that PSU. If it's in a PC, I'd be getting a good quality standard ATX one.
 
It's usually ok. The 8-pin pulls in 150W wheras the 6-pin pulls in 75W. The motherboard gives 75W so as long as the graphics card needs less than 150W you can run it fine off just 1 6-pin socket or 225W with the power from 2 6-pin sockets.
 
i can see the newer graphic cards use 8pin+ 6pin for power.
