Dell windows 7 pro oem. no windows 10

Hi there im using windows 7 x64 pro oem activated.
and im not getting a option to upgrade to windows 10.
my windows laptop did it straight away. anyone know why this is not giving me a option to upgrade.

is the windows 7 PC part of a domain or anything? as Domain PC's don't get the update but this can be installed manually through windows update.

check windows update for the following update

Windows update dubbed KB3035583

if its not installed you will not get the icon appear

Yeah its installed its in the updates. but no icon as yet

sorted it. uninstalled it then re installed and all works

lol the simple fixes are the best thing is now you will always get the icon there now till it downloads as it doesn't go after its reserved

Open Control Panel
Open Administrative Tools
Open Task Scheduler
Expand on the left "Task Scheduler Library"
Expand Microsoft
Expand Windows
Scroll down and Expand Setup
Click the folder "GWXTriggers"
On the far right is a bunch of options Click "Run"
