It is obvious it is only 4GB. If the other reports of it being slower than the Ti are correct, I can't see a market for this at all and will be a massive fail.

So far its one crappy article said that, and that very article is questioning itself at the end. So it 99% ********.
Actually if i were nv i'd gladly toss out a few K for something like this to appear.

The only way I would consider another AMD card is if they designed a graphics card that did not require drivers. :p

Software side of AMD really lets them down.

Did you have issues with a single gpu card? As their drivers work perfectly fine for that. It is in crossfire where they struggle.

I am going to give crossfire a go and see what people are crying about. Some seem content, other can't get anything working. Got to be some PEBKAC going on somewhere. lol.

End of the day if you don't want hassle, single gpu is the way. I have always had single gpu's and they just work.

AMD Matt must be chomping at the bit to spill the beans and shut all these naysayers up...assuming the Radeon Fury is all that. Must say I love the name, takes me back to where it all began with an 8Mb Rage Pro in '98...

I hope it is wrong. Just frustrating not knowing anything solid :(

Looks great Matt, however AMD are losing customers by the truckload currently and with Freesync / Gsync now being a consideration for a lot of us consumers we are basing GPU purchases on longer term plans, hence locking us into one particular GPU brand.

With that said, i love AMD however your company is offering us nothing to keep us waiting for your products except internet rumors and speculation and some teaser videos that while pretty lack anything that most of us are interested in.

So Matt i urge you, speak to your people and see if they will release some tech specs or anything to keep those of us seriously considering ditching AMD for the next few years by buying an Nvidia card and Gsync screen

June 16th at E3 Si, expect a lot more info from us then. :)

What did she say?

"AMD's chief Lisa Su has first shown the chip of the next high-end graphics card in public at Computex press conference. Around the designated with the codename Fiji GPU are four stacks of video memory, along to this combination are the fastest graphics card in the world - said AMD vice president Matt Skinner a few minutes earlier.

According to our information, the Fiji-based graphics card on 4 GB High Bandwidth Memory to have, in addition to three DisplayPort outputs installed AMD an HDMI 2.0 output. The board is very short with less than 20 cm, as the storage stack to sit next to the graphics chip and not as GDDR5 memory distributed over the entire board.

The two 8-pin connectors allow together with the PCIe slot theoretically a power consumption of up to 375 watts, but AMD's Graphics CEO Joe Macri said Golem.de that Fiji graphics card should not require more energy than the Radeon R9 290X. Thus, should the upcoming models remain at under 300 watts - possibly even significantly."

This is the first "official" mention of the power consumption as well...

Unless its bloody free i cant afford one this month anyway so meh! :P

IT has to be substantially superior to a 980 in price or performance and i guess it wont be either for a good 6 months later.

I hope these cards are really good. Went with 2x 980 Tis but need AMD to keep Nvidia in check.

4 GB launch is odd though, surely AMD's top cards will have way too much grunt for only 4 GB VRAM? Or maybe they won't launch their top tier cards until later?

To think people still argue that AMD don't do enough marketing.

We heard absolutely nothing about 980Ti pre-launch just got a bunch of reviews and it was available in shops straight after the NDA expired, how many pointless "oooh look at the body on this" videos have AMD released now?

16th of June?

nVidia right now:

cant buy cards from them as so few cards been released.
most are weeks away.

it will be called the worst Buyers remorse in history when you bought a Nvidia card and check the date after 16 of June and realize OH MY GOD the Fury X is awesome!

I WANT
